The theory being, the game will look for uplay and the system now knows where the client is located so it'll launch the newly installed client and register the previously installed game in it. But you'll have to do this for each installed uplay games. Hopefully that alone will then launch the newly installed uplay client automatically and validate the files. I am not sure how uplay handles the online checks or if their installs put stuff to the registry, so I am not sure but this might work:ġ) Go to the actual game directory and run the actual game executable.
